Count On Me

I've wanted to shoot this abacus for a long time.  The bright colors surrounded by the natural wooden frame really draws my eye.  I hadn't photographed anything for about a week, so I set up a backdrop on the kitchen counter and fired off a few frames, this was my favorite.  No HDR this time, just a slight inverted S curve to separate the blue beads from the background (a blue shirtbox lid), and a mild vignette.
